On Saturday, Mar 29, 2025, victim Shankar Saha submitted a written and signed complaint to the Officer in Charge of Sakhipur police station, Tangail district. Mr. Saha, a Hindu by religion, clearly stated that some unknown people hacked his Facebook profile at around 7:30 PM and posted some objectionable posts using his profile. Saha requested the police authority to take legal action against the hackers.

However, as it plays out in Bangladesh against religious minorities, police authority did not take any measure at all to safeguard the victim’s house though they knew it very well that the terrorists would attack the Saha family as they always did in the past.

On Sunday, Mar 30, 2025, a group of frenzy Muslims violently attacked, looted, and vandalized the victim’s house. The terrorists desecrated and burned the Hindu Goddess Laxmi’s photo as part of their attack. Watch Facebook video to view the destruction. Police authority was clearly absent from the scene enabling the Muslims to continue with their terrorism.
