Rampant violence against Hindu religious minorities that started on August 5, 2024 continued through 2025 in Bangladesh with direct and full support of Dr. Muhammad Yunus Government.
In the early hours of December 27, 2025, Terrorists set fire to five Hindu Houses with a clear intention to burn the Hindu families alive in the dead of night. A total of 10 Hindu houses have been burnt down due to the cruel arson attack in West Dumuritala Village of Pirojpur Sadar, Pirojpur District. No one has been arrested so far despite the fact that the victims lost everything to fire while narrowly escaping death. The victims are in dire need of humanitarian help to survive. The local Hindus are shaken to the core gripped in extreme fear due to the inaction of the Police in filing criminal cases and launching criminal probes to arrest the terrorists.

HUMAN RIGHTS APPEAL: This is NOT an isolated CRUELTY on Hindu religious minorities where arson attack is being used frequently against Hindus since December 2025 with a clear intention to burn Hindus alive in the dead of night. It is the part & parcel of an expedited GENOCIDE of Hindu religious minorities in Bangladesh since August 5, 2024 orchestrated by Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Dr. Muhammad Yunus who is the Interim Head of the country. Very rarely the Muslim attackers has been arrested and brought under justice. Instead, the government forces have arrested & imprisoned, and even murdered Hindu victims by beating mercilessly.
It is obvious that the objective of Dr. Muhammad Yunus led Bangladesh Government is to annihilate Hindus from the country. With the regime change in Bangladesh since August 5, 2024, Hindu religious minorities are subjected to unprecedented level of violence in the hands of majority Muslims. The Muslim people, the police, the military, the hospitals, and the judiciary of Dr. Muhammad Yunus government – all are working together in this expedited GENOCIDE of Hindus in Bangladesh. All forms of persecution including murder, assault, looting, arson attack, land and property grabbing, death threat, intimidation, rape, abduction, kidnap, and conversion to Muslim of Hindu religious minorities across Bangladesh continue more frequently.
The extent of Hindu persecution has increased manifold with full support of Dr. Muhammad Yunus since the ouster of the previous Sheikh Hasina regime as of August 5, 2024. Hindus, the native people of the land, are living in constant fear in their own ancestral country as the government is directly involved in denying the basic Human rights of Hindu people – the right to life. We, the human rights activists at the HRCB, demand the Chief of Bangladesh Government Dr. Muhammad Yunus to stop annihilating Hindus in the country. We URGE the powerful Western leaders and people who are the protectors of the human rights across the world to HELP & SAVE the persecuted Hindu people of Bangladesh.
It can be noted that Bangladesh territory was an integral part of original India and so original Hindu land. During the Islamic ruling of India, Muslims gradually OCCUPIED the Hindu lands by using Terrorism and forced conversion.
