On October 24, 2024, a Muslim man named Shah Marzan made a public call to kill Hindu people in Bangladesh. Shah Marzan is a Madrassa student (Muslim religious school) located in Rajnagar Upazilla, Moulvibazar District, Sylhet Division, Bangladesh. Police authority has arrested the man.

The humans on earth need to ask themselves: what enabled this man to make such a heinous call? The answer lies in the ongoing widespread violent attacks by the majority Muslim people on the minority Hindus across Bangladesh. Hindus are being violently attacked since early August 2024 with implicit support from the police and military forces. Bangladesh news media is also ignoring to report these attacks. Bangladesh government’s inaction to arrest and punish the attackers is the root cause of such heinous cruelty by Muslims.
