Priyanka Datta, a youth Hindu woman, was working as manager at the GEC branch of a beauty salon named “Nadia’s Makeover”.  On September 4, 2025, her dead body was discovered in the restroom of the salon apparently hanging from the shower head. The way her body is hanging is a concrete proof that she was murdered first and then her body was hanged there (refer to the photo). However, murdering Hindu individuals and then hanging the dead body has emerged as a trend to term an obvious homicide as a suicide. The murderers belonging to Muslims have been successfully using this tactic with full support from the Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Dr. Yunus’ government since August 5, 2024.

The law enforcement authority has taken her dead body under police custody and sent to Chittagong Medical Collège Hospital for post mortem.

***Similar to the previous such murders, the post mortem report will most likely document her murder as a suicide. The murderers, the hospitals, the court of law, the police, the military, Dr. Yunus government – all are working together in this expedited GENOCIDE of Hindus in Bangladesh.***

HUMAN RIGHTS ANALYSIS: All forms of persecution including murder, looting, arson attack, land and property grabbing of Hindu religious minorities across Bangladesh continue unabated. The extent of Hindu persecution has increased manifold with full support from Dr. Muhammad Yunus led government since the ouster of the previous Sheikh Hasina regime as of August 5, 2024. Hindus, the native people of the land, are living in fear in their own ancestral country as the government is directly involved in denying the basic Human rights to Hindu people. We,  the human rights activists at the HRCB, desperately urge the Chief of Bangladesh Government Dr. Muhammad Yunus, as well as the Western leaders who are the protectors of the human rights across the world, to help save the persecuted Hindu people of Bangladesh.
