On January 1st, 2025 at 7.30 pm, Muslim Terrorists attacked, vandalized, looted, and desecrated a Hindu temple legendary Hindu monk “Shree Shree Gauranga Mahaprabhu’s Sewa Ashram”. They also physically assaulted and injured the temple priest. The temple is located in Aditya’s Mahal village in Baralekha Upazila of Moulvibazar District, Bangladesh.
The perpetrators are yet to be arrested. Hundreds of Hindu temples and Deities have been vandalized and looted since August 5, 2024. Almost all perpetrators are at large roaming free threatening Hindu religious minorities further.
Bangladesh Hindu human rights organizations strongly condemns and protests against such heinous acts of religious violence and demands the arrest and exemplary punishment of the perpetrators without delay.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Under the leadership of Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Dr. Muhammad Yunus with the ouster of the Sheikh Hasina government, Hindu religious minorities and Hindu temples are being attacked by majority Muslim extremists on a daily basis since August 5, 2024 across Bangladesh. Buddhists were attacked in September by Muslim extremists burning down more than 120 Buddhist businesses and a few Buddhists were killed. The victims in each and every attack either fled for life during the attacks or severely injured or killed.
Bangladesh Government’s Law & Order enforcement and implementation departments namely Military force, Police force, and the Judiciary are aiding and abetting the Muslim extremists in all such attacks victimizing the victims further:
- Military and Police forces have directly attacked Hindu people and Buddhist people.
- Military force and Police force are playing the role of silent spectator encouraging the extremists to attack and lynch Hindus in their presence.
- Muslim perpetrators are at large in almost all such attacks with a few exceptions.
- Police have arrested Hindu men in some cases, remanded them, and published confessional statements in news media that the Hindu men confessed that they did the attacks.
- Chittagong District Court has imprisoned Hindu leader Chinmoy Krishna Das and a large number of indiscriminately arrested Hindu men.
- Clearly, all these violent attacks are happening with full approval of Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the Head of Bangladesh Government.
