Bangladesh Military & Police authority mercilessly attacked Hindus in Chattogram

On November 5, 2024, a Muslim business man named Osman Molla of Hazari Golli of Chattogram city posted a defamatory and hateful statement calling ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness) a Terrorist organization on his Facebook profile. ISKCON is a peace-promoting Hindu religious organization that chants, sings, and spreads the Love of God with its presence in over 158 countries across the world including the USA and Russia. Some Hindu youth of that area took note of the post and gathered together to protest in front of Osman Molla’s shop named Molla Store. As they demanded the arrest of Osman Molla, the local Muslims became furious and chaos broke out.

Bangladesh Army and Police forces arrived to control the situation and the Police took custody of Osman Molla. However, moments later, the Army and Police forces started attacking the minority Hindu residents of the area ruthlessly and indiscriminately. By midnight, the Army and Police forces started  searching Hindu houses for youths, shattered all CCTV cameras to conceal the evidence and footage of their violent attacks on Hindus, vandalized and looted Hindu shops. They brutally beat the Hindus injuring them severely.
