30-year young Hindu man murdered by slitting throat in Natore

On Saturday, February 1, 2025, policemen recovered the dead body of a van driver from a remote rural road side of Chamtia village in Lalpur upazila, Natore district. The locals spotted the body of the man with throat slit and informed the local police. The killers expressed their cruel mind in murdering the victim. The victim is identified as 30-year young Hindu man Sukumar who was a van driver by profession, and son of late Mr. Jugol of Bahadipur village in Lalpur upazila.

Police recovered the body at around 4:00PM and brought the body in the police station, said Nuruzzaman, officer-in-charge of Lalpur Police Station.

NOTE: Hardcore Muslims have been violently attacking and killing Hindu religious minorities in Bangladesh on a daily basis since August 5, 2024. The perpetrators are mostly at large due to the inaction and support from Bangladesh Government under the leadership of Dr. Muhammad Yunus, a Nobel Peace Prize Laureate. Bangladesh Government is not only complicit in these crimes against the religious minorities, the Government is also explicitly involved in these violent attacks using all three of the law enforcement authorities namely Police force, Military force and Judiciary. Hindu victims are victimized further by both the hardcore Muslim perpetrators and the Government.
