On Tuesday, December 3, 2024, Mohammad Abdul Motin, a sub-inspector of Parbatipur Police Station, filed a case against\u00a0a 15-year old Hindu child under the Cyber Security Act\u00a0accusing him of hurting Muslims’ religious sentiment on Social Media.\u00a0Police quickly arrested the accused Hindu child from his home located in Purba Rampur area under Parbatipur upazila and produced him before a Magistrate at the Dinajpur\u00a0 court on the same day, Tuesday, December 3.\u00a0The court ordered to send him to Juvenile Detention Centre.<\/p>\n
Abus Salam, officer-in-charge of Parbatipur Police Station, confirmed that the accused child is a\u00a0student of Kholahati Cantonment Public School and College.<\/p>\n
Per one Mr. Bipul Das, the accused child’s maternal uncle, stated that the child would be sent to Jashore\u00a0Juvenile Detention Centre on Wednesday, December 4.<\/p>\n
