{"id":75,"date":"2016-06-15T21:56:34","date_gmt":"2016-06-15T21:56:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.hrcb.org\/?p=75"},"modified":"2016-06-15T21:56:34","modified_gmt":"2016-06-15T21:56:34","slug":"hindu-teacher-hacked-in-his-home-in-madaripur","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hrcb.org\/index.php\/hindu-teacher-hacked-in-his-home-in-madaripur\/","title":{"rendered":"Hindu teacher hacked in his home in Madaripur"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ripon Chakrabarty, a mathematics lecturer at Government Najimuddin College, is currently undergoing treatment at Barisal\u2019s Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital with head and hand injuries.<br \/>\n<a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/wp_ss_20160615_0001-2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-76\" alt=\"wp_ss_20160615_0001 (2)\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/wp_ss_20160615_0001-2-266x300.png\" width=\"266\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nNeighbours and police said the attack took place around 5pm on Wednesday at his rented home near the college\u2019s main gate, opposite a student hostel.<\/p>\n<p>Locals caught one of the attackers while they were fleeing and handed him over to police.<\/p>\n<p>Sadar Model Police Station OC Ziaul Morshed identified him as Faizullah Fahin, 20, of Chapainawabganj.<\/p>\n<p>Morshed said the assailants first knocked on the door of the Hindu teacher\u2019s home.
