On Monday, October 28, 2024,\u00a0a frenzied Muslim mob surrounded Kadirdi Degree College in Boalmari Upazilla of Bangladesh after accusing a Hindu teenage <\/strong>of\u00a0<\/strong>\u2018insulting\u2019 Prophet Muhammad.<\/p>\n

The accused, the victim named Hridoy Pal is an eleventh grade college student. The Muslim mob gathered outside the Kadirdi Degree College and demanded that the administration hand the victim over to them.<\/p>\n

They accused the Hindu child of committing \u2018blasphemy\u2019 through a Facebook post. Hridoy Pal was called into the principal\u2019s cabin and interrogated. The victim informed the college authorities that he did not own a mobile phone.<\/p>\n

Victim\u00a0Hridoy Pal further stated that the alleged \u2018blasphemous\u2019 Facebook post was published from a Facebook ID that was hacked two years ago.<\/p>\n

Bangladesh Army men came in and carried him away blindfolded while beating him from heat to toe with a big stick. Muslim mob followed the army men and shouted “Sir, Sir, beat him harder, beat him on the sole of his feet. We need this for the peace of our eyes. We need this for the peace of our\u00a0mind.”<\/p>\n
