A gang of perpetrators attacked Madan Gopal Jiu Vigraha Thakur temple, a Hindu temple in Old Dhaka city. They broke the temple’s CCTV camera, threw away all the utensils and accessories used for worship, and then forcibly occupied and locked the temple.<\/p>\n

Later the Army personnel arrived to take control of the situation. After a lot of chaos, the occupiers and the Army personnel left the place in the evening. The local Hindus then broke the occupier’s lock and entered their temple.<\/p>\n

Location of attack:<\/strong>\u00a0Madan Gopal Jiu Vigraha Thakur temple in Dhaka city, Sutrapur police station<\/p>\n

Victims:<\/strong> Hindus people of Bangladesh: The temple authority, devotees, and the the surrounding area Hindu residents.<\/p>\n
