On October 13, 2025, some local Muslims murdered <\/span>a young\u00a0man named Subrata Chandra Das by slitting his throat & beheading him in broad daylight in Subarnachar, Noakhali district in Bangladesh. Mr. Das was just 38-year old and\u00a0 a Hindu by religion. The murderers of this heinous crime are yet to be arrested and brought to justice.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Subrata Chandra Das’ wife Rikta Rani Das works in the health services department in Char Hasan Bhuiyanhat location. On the day of the murder, Subrata set off on a motorcycle to pick up his wife from work in the afternoon.\u00a0<\/span>When he reached near some local “Paloan” house his house on the way, the murderers stopped him, slit his throat and beheaded him. They then left his body on the side of the road.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

HUMAN RIGHTS ANALYSIS:\u00a0<\/span>This is NOT an isolated murder.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>It is the part & parcel of an expedited GENOCIDE of Hindu religious minorities in Bangladesh since August 5, 2024. <\/strong>The sole objective of Bangladesh Government is to annihilate Hindus from the country.\u00a0With the regime change in Bangladesh, Hindu religious minorities are subjected to unprecedented level of violence in the hands of majority Muslims with full support from the Government. The Muslim people, the hospitals, the judiciary, the police, and the military of Dr. Muhammad Yunus government \u2013 all are working together in this expedited GENOCIDE of Hindus in Bangladesh.\u00a0<\/strong>All forms of persecution including murder, assault, looting, arson attack, land and property grabbing, death threat, intimidation, and conversion to Muslim of Hindu religious minorities across Bangladesh continue unabated.\u00a0The extent of Hindu persecution has increased manifold with full support from Dr. Muhammad Yunus led government since the ouster of the previous Sheikh Hasina regime as of\u00a0August 5, 2024. Hindus, the native people of the land, are living in fear in their own ancestral country as the government is directly involved in denying the basic Human rights to Hindu people. We,\u00a0 the human rights activists at the HRCB, desperately urge the Chief of Bangladesh Government Dr. Muhammad Yunus, as well as the Western leaders who are the protectors of the human rights across the world, to help save the persecuted Hindu people of Bangladesh.<\/p>\n
