{"id":1258,"date":"2025-02-09T21:26:37","date_gmt":"2025-02-09T21:26:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hrcb.org\/?p=1258"},"modified":"2025-02-12T06:15:57","modified_gmt":"2025-02-12T06:15:57","slug":"hefajat-e-islam-threat-iskcon-and-hindus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hrcb.org\/index.php\/hefajat-e-islam-threat-iskcon-and-hindus\/","title":{"rendered":"Hefajat-e-Islam threatened to slaughter ISKCON and Hindus"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Friday, Feb 7, 2025, after Muslims&#8217; holy Jumu&#8217;ah prayer, Muslim Extremists under the leadership of the Secretary of the Chandina municipality branch of Hefazat-e-Islam,\u00a0 brought out a procession to stop the anniversary celebration of ISKCON and the temple&#8217;s foundation preparation work in Chandina upazilla municipality (&#8220;Pourasabha&#8221; in Bangla) in Cumilla district, Bangladesh.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The terrorists shouted slogans calling for the killing of Hindu religious minorities and ISKCON members with approval from the local Police administration. They shouted: &#8220;Grab and slaughter ISKCON devotees one by one&#8221;.\u00a0 They shouted to demolish ISKCON&#8217;s places and wipe out the existence of ISKCON. Note that Islamists in Bangladesh are using &#8220;ISKCON&#8221; as a synonym to Hindus in Muhammad Yunus ruled Bangladesh. <\/strong>Watch the 22-minutes long video on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=bg5aJlAglqw\">YouTube<\/a> for details.<\/p>\n<p>As shown in the 22-minutes long <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=bg5aJlAglqw\">YouTube<\/a> video, the Secretary of Hefazat-e-Islam\u00a0 thanked the local administration and the OC (Officer-In-Charge) of Chandina police station for allowing them to hold this <strong>hate speech procession<\/strong>. The video shows that the secretary delivered his hate speech at the gate of the police station.
